UTL 501 INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS (REQUIRED)
International business course is about internationalization of firms and investment policies. The content is differences between international business and national business activities, main factors that create international business, globalization, and international trade theories, internationalization process of firms, international investment opportunities and risk appraisal, economical integration and international organizations, international financial environment, international cultural environment, international human resources management, international organizational theories, international accounting transactions.

UTL 502 INTERNATIONAL MARKETING (REQUIRED)
International marketing course is based on examination of international markets in detail. The content is characteristics of national and international markets. Differential features of international markets are social, cultural, political, financial and economic environment, consumers behavior in international markets, international products policies, international distribution, international pricing, international promotional activities, export, licensing and franchising, mergers and acquisitions, foreign capital investments.

UTL 503 INTERNATIONAL ECONOMICS THEORY (REQUIRED)
The content of international economics theory course is international trade theory, classical and neoclassical foreign trade theories, foreign trade rates, foreign trade multiplier, balance of payments theories and analyzes, comparative-absolute advantages theories, gains from trade under diminishing-increasing-constant costs- international wage differentials, demand factor, open economy and pre-trade equilibrium, law of reciprocal demand. 

UTL 504 SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH METHODS (REQUIRED)
The content of this course is research process, identifying the problems, data collection, and data analysis and interpreting the results, main research methods such as experimental and descriptive methods, finding research problems, hypothesis, conceptualization, quantification, data evaluation, and interpretation and learning report writing methods.

UTL 505 INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT (REQUIRED)
The content of this course is modern methods and applications of transportation in global economies, customer services and planning, substructure of transportation, transportation management and regulations, stock and inventory methods, warehousing and logistics positioning.

UTL 506 INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION CHANNELS (REQUIRED)
The content of this course is differential distribution applications in different markets, distribution tendencies in global markets, politics that are followed for distribution in developed and developing economies, distribution channel planning and controlling in international marketing, direct and indirect distribution channel components, channel targets-restrictions and alternatives for consumer and industrial products, international retailing and wholesaling transactions, selection of distribution channel strategies for newly entering markets, creating new distribution channels. 

UTL 507 INTERNATIONAL FINANCE (ELECTIVE)
This course is about developing of international finance, international payments systems and balance of payments, foreign exchange markets, spot and forward markets, arbitrage, international finance parity, the factors that affect exchange rates, tools for exchange rate risks, foreign exchange and interest swap, foreign exchange options, foreign exchange futures, the effects of foreign exchange rates on firm value, accounting effects of foreign exchange rates. 

UTL 508 INTERNATIONAL MARKETING RESEARCH (ELECTIVE)
This course examines marketing research in international environment, planning of international marketing research, primary and secondary data, and data collection techniques, reporting and gaining data in international markets.

UTL 509 FOREIGN TRADE TRANSACTIONS (ELECTIVE)
This course examines basic concepts of foreign trade, foreign trade theories, evaluation of foreign trade, the differences between foreign trade and domestic trade, foreign trade terms, documentary of foreign trade such as transportation, finance and insurance.

UTL 510 ADVANCED MACROECONOMICS (ELECTIVE)
In this course, macroeconomic models and analyzes, market economies, market failure, national income and social welfare, price indexes, unemployment, aggregate supply and demand, inflation, IS-LM Model, equilibrium and stability, Keynesian Model, growth, externality of economy, exchange rates, interest rates are examined.

UTL 511 INTERNATIONAL ECONOMICS POLICY (ELECTIVE)
International Economics Policy course examines the reasons of foreign trade, foreign trade theories, mercantilism, absolute and comparative advantage theories, factor mobility, foreign exchange market,  balance of payments, economic integrations, IMF, World Bank, economic crisis from past to today, liberalization of world trade, international monetary systems, fixed and flexible exchange rate systems, non-tariff restrictions.

UTL 512 FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT (ELECTIVE)
This course examines financial instruments, finance function, financial analyses, financial audit, working capital management, bull market management, receivables and stock management, capital cost, fixed assets management, short-term and long-term financial assets, debt management.

UTL 513 INTERNATIONAL TRADE TRANSACTIONS, REGULATIONS AND APPLICATIONS (ELECTIVE)
The content of this course is the payment systems of international trade, cash in advance, cash against good, cash against documents, letter of credit, Turkish foreign trade applications, exportation, export regulations, importation, import regime, standardization.

UTL 514 INTERNATIONAL TRADE LAW (ELECTIVE)
This course examines international private law, international treaties about highway, seaway, railway and airway, international arbitration, foreign trade contracts, united-nations, the applications and decisions set by other institutions.

UTL 515 E-TRADE (ELECTIVE)
In this course, basic concept of e-trade, sides of e-trade, technological requirements of e-trade, web based operating system and applications, e-business models, internet security, social, legal and public policy of e-trade.

UTL 516 EUROPEAN UNION AND TURKEY: ORGANIZATION FOR ECONOMICS AND ECONOMIC INTEGRATION (ELECTIVE)
This course examines basic concepts of Customs Union decisions between Turkey and European Union, the effects of Customs Union for Turkey, Turkey’s main politic and economic problems in the process of full membership, Turkey-European Union relationship, and free movements of factors of production, social politics, employment, environment, energy, transportation, regional development and trade with European Union.

UTL 517 FIELD STUDY (ELECTIVE)
21st century contains rapid globalizing and changing economic and commercial structure. The success of firms that operate international trade and logistics activities depends on how fast being adapted of these changings. The aim and content of this course is about visiting firms that operating international trade and logistics activities and contacting with managers and personnel to get direct information. By this way, participants benefit from experts’ experiences and learning the processes while flowing.

UTL 518 INTERNATIONAL SALES AND NEGOTIATION METHODS (ELECTIVE)
In this course, the role of arbitrage in international transactions and the integrations that are functional, environmental and institutional in international dimension are examined.

UTL 519 INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT (ELECTIVE)
In this course, national differences in political economies, foreign direct investment, import, export and counter trade, international opportunity analysis, the planning and organizing of international activities, global human resources topics are examined.

UTL 521 ADVANCED MICROECONOMICS (ELECTIVE)
This course examines, short and long run production and costs. Ever-globalizing world, pricing in competitive and oligopolistic markets are examined in detail.

UTL 524 SPECIAL TOPICS (ELECTIVE)
This course examines current topics and problems of international trade and logistics.
