ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The fundamental objective of the human resources management is to benefit from the manpower efficiently and effectively as well as providing a better work place and living for the employees. The continuously renewed needs of the world, which is globalized and whose frontiers are narrowed, mostly influence and change the human resources management. In the world where competition for skilled employees occurs in addition to the changes in the company structures, the department of human resources, whose duties and responsibilities have increased, plays a more strategically enhanced role than it was before because human capital has become the most important asset within an organization or a company.

The success of the businesses today and in the future is directly related to the investment that will be made to human resources and the establishment of working conditions in such a way to meet the needs of the employees. If the businesses do not adopt such approaches, it is difficult for them to achieve their objectives and be successful. Planning, implementation and other practices of human resources management, whose objective is to enable the businesses to reach the desired success within the framework of the high motivation provided by the employees’ voluntary respect of workplace rules, are the fundamental components of this success.

In this context, the objective of our Master’s Program in Human Resources Management is not only to provide the managers of human resources the opportunity to learn the necessary skills to manage the human capital but also to present the results of systematic approaches and theoretical studies within this field. Therefore, managers who were trained as managers of the human resources department and those who were specialized in other fields will be beneficial to the businesses when they evaluate existing methods and approaches within the application process as well as when they solve problems related to the management of human resources by using their knowledge in this context.

The field of Human Resources Management is experiencing an important period of change in the global and Turkish context. That is why the demand for professionals, who have the necessary skills to implement the developments that are taking place in human resources management, gradually increases. While providing the students the opportunity to gain strong theoretical background, the content of our program also aims to determine and address the needs in the field of human resources management.

The language of instruction of Master’s Program in Human Resources Management is Turkish and has two options that are with thesis or without thesis. Both options are administrated in accordance with the Çankaya University’s Graduate Education & Teaching Regulations. It is possible to access these regulations from the link below.
